This is nearly a 30-year tradition, but the Annual Mooning of Amtrak just screams “If you give me enough beer, I’ll do anything!”
Granted, I say this as a guy who mooned more than few people in my high school days, so maybe I shouldn’t be so hypocritical. I guess I just grew up.
The strangest things make people hot, and apparently some people are turned on by tube crushing — the act of stomping and squeezing every amount of liquid mass out of a tube.
Weirdest thing I’ve seen in quite a long while.
I don’t drink, but based on the fact that I don’t make living wage, apparently drinking might be the answer.
WASHINGTON (AFP) – People who consume alcohol earn significantly more at their jobs than non-drinkers, according to a US study that highlighted “social capital” gained from drinking.
The study published in the Journal of Labor Research Thursday concluded that drinkers earn 10 to 14 percent more than teetotalers, and that men who drink socially bring home an additional seven percent in pay.

Just bookmark these as you never know when offensive terms per nationality or a list of ethnic slurs will come in handy (hopefully never).
Wikipedia is really a handy resource, because you never know when you’ll need to know the names of a few big-bust models and performers or porn stars (and gay ones). You can also go there to research sexual positions or keep up on celebrity sex tapes. But at least there are some useful things. My guess is you won’t find any of that in Encyclopaedia Britannica.

He may not be committing a crime, but if I worked at one of those coffee stands, I don’t know if I’d be able to avoid dumping cup of scolding hot coffee on him.

Update on 8/31: Looks like the guy was finally arrested. (Note: I’d like to the more-detailed Bulletin story, but you’d have to pay for it, and KTVZ doesn’t have the story up yet.)
Update at 10:45: Here’s KTVZ’s story which actually has more up-to-date details than the Bulletin’s — he was apparently arrested for seven flashing incidents at five drive-throughs.

Any geek knows that there’s a small bit of power that comes across a USB cable when it’s hooked to your computer. So in theory, if you have enough cables hooked to your computer (not through a hub), you can get some serious juice out of it. Somebody rigged up 30 USB ports and managed to cook some meat with it.
I don’t know if I’d eat it, though.
