What Does Your Browser Reveal About You?

Since I’m a Firefox 1.x guy…

You are most likely a little bit geeky and proud of it. You are a strong supporter of the Open Source movement, and you think that RMS is “the man”. You really don’t care if FF is faster, or safer than IE – you would use it even if it performed 10 times worse. You are just happy that you have a free, open source browser with a huge community that is supporting it. At any given time you have installed at least 7 extensions that you couldn’t live without.

Yeah, pretty close. What does your browser reveal about you? (and they pretty much cover everything out there covered, including the various versions of MSIE, Firefox, Netscape, AOL, Opera, Lynx, etc…

That’s One Way Of Getting Out Of Paying Alimony

I work for a few different companies out here in Sunriver. One of them is looking for a reservationist, and has an ad on CentralOregonJobs.com. We just got a hilarious inquiry from that ad on the site. My boss isn’t here, so I have no idea if he’s going to help the guy out or not:

I’m currently engaged in court battle with my X- Wife over her continuing to receive alimony. She claims there are no jobs available close to her new home in Gilchrist so alimony must continue (6 yrs). I’ve found many jobs that I believe she is qualified to perform from this website and others. It would be extremly helpful, to my cause, to know what the qualifications were for the person you hired to fill this position. Age and education mostly.

So he’s basically trying to get out of paying alimony. Priceless.

It is a bit longer of a commute than what I have, so I don’t know how this is going to help the guy. I’d look in LaPine, if I were him, as Gilchrist is quite a ways from here.

But she probably is trying to get out of working, too. I doubt we’ll reply at all as I don’t think my boss wants to get in the middle of this.

Just A Bit Of Advice

If you’re going to go on LimeWire to download porn to your laptop, make sure that you turn it off before you go to the office, otherwise IT personnel will find your collection that you’ve unwittingly shared with the office.

You see, LimeWire has default settings to share all files that have been successfully downloaded to all iTunes applications on the network. Anybody who is running iTunes and has their iTunes set to look for shared playlists will find your LimeWire downloads.
