Re the prop newspaper: Fascinating — I never noticed that before. The same head shot of a girl keeps reappearing on the prop paper, but it’s in different parts of the page and the layout of the page keeps changing. Maybe the propmasters have a collection of stock newspaper elements that they rearrange.
