I got my HDTV hooked up as well and was amazed at how far technology has come. If you are going to have an HDTV, you definitely require HD programming. I was able to get mine pretty cheap… free. I happen to work for Dish Network so I was aware that we are running a great promotion for free HD. I had been running my older HD in standard definition and decided that it was timed to upgrade. I was able to get my DVR receiver replaced with an HD version and therefore everything I am watching is so amazing in color and true likeness. If anyone out there doesn’t have HD, I highly recommend it!
