To this day, one of the most-commented-on entries is this site is an old post about the crackpots at PETA. I’m sure this entry will get some anti-PETA commentary as well.
PETA‘s latest escapade? They’re getting on President Obama for killing a fly during a televised interview. Instead, PETA wished the Prez would’ve used a humane bug catcher.
Personally, I prefer the old fashioned method.

The problem with killing flies, or other critters, is the slippery ethical slope it puts you on. I discussed this in one of my first blog posts, in which I ask, “At what point in the food chain does it become wrong to kill?”
All that said, props to Obama for good reflexes. And to PETA for getting hot celebrities to take their clothes off.
Today, on the subway, there was an ad that had a picture of a dog and a pig. (both cute…)
The caption read: “Why be friends with one, and eat the other?” Someone wrote on top of the ad: “eat both!”.
People don’t care about PETA and stuff that…
