Totally slammed, links piling up, so here are a bunch of random links that have been sitting in my to-do pile for a while:
- Want to pay off a credit card? Get a loan from the community at-large with Prosper (facinating idea!).
- Linux Media Center Edition (check out the screen shots).
- Roll your own software MP3 player with Foobar2000 (I’m going to replace WinAmp with this as I just want a bare-bones MP3 player).
- Making paper from elephant, moose, panda, and sheep crap.
- How a USB key helped find a lost child (my kids are going to start carrying USB key).
- Save space in your Firefox tab bar with Faviconize Tab.
- Great least of open-source apps for PC and Mac
- American Airlines thinks women can use a web site’s power search.
- A toy every kid should have.
- If you can’t create a contact form on your site but don’t want people to get your e-mail address, use this free service.
- Great tool for comparing and getting CSS code for screen type.
- Using any USB key with Vista’s ReadyBoost.
- Getting your site out of Google’s “supplemental index.” and into the primary index.
- The new AOL Beta Site looks a lot like Yahoo’s home page.
- And this one is for you, Jon: A Commodore Wordpess theme (download it here).
More useful links and discussion fodder tomorrow.
