Yeah, I know, that headline is fairly obvious, but here’s some more evidence (and more evidence that anybody who believes in Scientology is cracked):
Tom Cruise’s pregnant fiancee Katie Holmes will be reminded to keep her vow of silence during birth — by signs plastered around their home.
The couple — following the Scientology tradition of a silent birth– had the posters delivered to their Beverly Hills mansion.
The 6ft placards will be placed so Katie can see them in labour.
One reads: “Be silent and make all physical movements slow and understandable.”
Oh, but it gets better. Some more snippets….
Followers believe it is traumatic for babies to hear their mother scream or groan when giving birth. They think it can cause “psychic” damage, which takes years of therapy to overcome.

The comments on the article are hilarious, one commenter writing that they should have those signs to keep silent wherever Tom goes so he’ll keep his mouth shut. Or how one said “Perhaps Katie Holmes could hold Tom Cruise’s testicles throughout the birth and see if he remains silent!!!” I think you should just cut his nuts off so he doesn’t make the mistake of breeding ever again.

I am a Scientologist and I’ve given birth 7 times – believe me, Scientologist mothers make plenty of noise – it’s the doctors and nurses we ask to keep as quiet as possible.
In one hospital, not only did the nurses put the “silence please” sign on our door – they put the signs on the doors leading to the HALLWAY of the maternity ward!
It’s not such a weird concept – Dr. Bradley (“Husband-Coached Childbirth”) observed that if the environment grows noisy, animals – domesticated as well as wild – will stop labor and go somewhere more quiet to give birth.
I think it’s funny how the media makes things sound different than they are – someone could have said the “silence please” signs were made for ME – but actually we didn’t even ask for them. The nurses in our HOSPITAL wrote them, once we explained that we wanted them to keep quiet while I was in labor – and the NURSES put them on the doors – so OTHERS would respect MY wishes.
It’s all about empowering the mother and giving her the birth experience she is most comfortable with!

yeh tom cruise is nuts i saw that video on scientology he looks possesed/brainwashed. All those beliefs they have never heard of such BS before. for instance a woman has to eat certain foods of concieve on certain nights or during a phase of the moon to have a boy or girl. What a load of crack. Science has already proved this to be wrong. The baby’s gender depends not on the mother but the father. It depends on the sperm that fertilises the egg. If it is a Y chrmosone it will be a boy if it is an X chromosone it will be a girl.

If you saw it on the news a while back you will know what i mean. i even heard online that scientology is based on a science fiction book and the founder of scientology (as shown on the news) said there is no god and christianity is a false religion. not that i believe that but its one way of getting at least half the planet against you and your followers
