That’s about a forty-footer? On OPB “Nature” they had a show about big waves and one guys surfed an 85′ wave at North Shore Hawaii. The waves were so big the IMAX crew in a helicopter filming would disappear below the waves. (as viewed from shore)

that is not during ivan. i surfed wednesday before ivan in pensacola florida. I’ve seen that video everywhere. it is a clip from the movie walking on water. very good check it out some time. but the wave is jaws in maui, hawaii. and defenetely not from ivan. sorry
