their latest security patch has been a major pain in the butt too. One of the ‘fixes’ is to disallow the passing of auth in a URL, one of the workarounds we’ve implemented for a few problems. Whose internet?
I use the Google Toolbar. Works great. It has blocked 2387 popups since Nov 6, 2003. I’ve seen maybe 5 get through.
Yes, the Google Pop Up Blocker is nice, but is has blocked some legitmate popups in my case. I disable it as needed, but it’s still the best out there.
