I love the Matrix movies, but I don’t like Keanu Reeves. Never really have, at least in the role he’s playing in Matrix. But I hate him less than I do Kevin Costner, who was seriously considered for the lead role in the Matrix series. I had heard rumors a LONG time ago that Jet Li was wanted as well, but turned it down. Instead, they got stuck with a guy that, really, has done some crappy movies. I’m sorry, but Keanu will always be Ted Logan or Tod Hawkes, in my mind.
Oh well … I know what I’ll be seeing on November 5th.

Leo is wrong for ANY role. A wooden plank is a better actor.
As for the Matrix gay porn, the basic plot is that Neo thinks he is in love with Trinity but in actuality he is in denial for Morpheus. Eventually Neo and Morpheus declare their love for one another and get it on.

I like KR 10 million times better that Leo…Kevin C. is not bad but maybe too old for me…hmm, maybe Jet Li must have done better that KR but too bad he turned it down! – But still KR have done a pretty good and acceptable job
I like Keanu Reeves as Neo– the image fits him well (i can’t really vouch in the way of acting, i just feed on the visuals) but but but I can imagine Jet Li really kicking asss as Neo. Kevin Costner, uhm, naw he wouldn’t do for me. Absolutely. Brrr 🙂
Brad Pitt would be a good Neo. Just the right amount of “ham” in his acting style.

Seriously, Reeves is ok as Neo, don’t forget our hero aka The One is a deep and troubled one (right from the beginning where he wonders what is the matrix till the very end), so i guess all that expressionless acting suits the character, Neo.

I don’t think The matrix saga would have done as well if it wasn’t for K.C. he brings neo to life by being able to relate to the whole nieve thing. Jet Li is too good in fight scenes but you don’t think of K.C. as one to be able to pull that off. Oh, and trinity is not hot you would think they could actually find somebody with a nice face and bodylike Jessica Alba but then again she looks too good for K.C. and then wouldn’t fit in.
jet li turned that role down to be in that matrix because he was currently busy making a movie “the one”
