Do you guys have Dr Who over in the US? It was a popular UK sci-fi drama from a few years ago. One of the comedy sketch shows now takes the mickey out of it by getting an actor to dress up as one of the characters and then walking into (for example) a furniture store and asking if their wardrobes allow for intergalatic space travel.
Yup…came into the US via PBS. I never really watched it , however.

No Dimensional Warp Generator for me!
After receiving the Dimensional Warp Generator and teleportation dropoff emails, I was intrigued enough to check out the alleged delivery point on Monday, July 28, 2003. The location was only ten minutes from work and I figured, why not?…
I think this is great. Obviously BS but what if it’s not??? Wouldn’t you like to meet this dude???

Ya know…the string theory still dominates physics due to its continued “effect’ of encompassing other physical properties from unrelated fields. A LOT of the theoretical mathmatics behind time travel was discoverd by testing various ideas in string theory & eliminating the anomalies. As i recall, it was this original work that led to the final proof that 6 dimensions do indeed curve in to give us our observable universe. This supported morte of the theroretical math behind time travel.
It’s ironic that the beauty of string theory gives future engineers the confidence to create the distortion unit even tho the final proof is still unknown.
