UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. It Makes For A Much Better ComicI stopped reading the Garfield comic strip years ago. It just wasn't funny or interesting to me anymore. But Garfield minus Garfield makes the strip a lot more interesting by taking that obnoxious orange cat completely out of the picture: Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle.
