UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Yes, the photo gallery is photos of exactly what you're thinking of -- stuff that has been cleansed out of a colon (and it's some scary stuff). Blame b3ta for that. On a related poop note, it still amazes me that this really old entry about why you might end up with green stool is one of my most-commented-on entries.
