I’ve Dealt With Some Hilarious Tech Support Issues…

The World Can Breathe Easier

For a brief time this morning, YouTube removed the orignal “Rickroll” video because of “terms of use violations.” YouTube acknowledged the mistake, and put the video back up. As you can see by the recent comments on the video, Rick was missed.

Sushi Cat a cute little game where you need to fatten up a cat. While this didn’t happen to me, some folks are saying that on higher levels the cat gets too fat to make it into the baskets, or gets stuck bouncing around, but eventually makes it through (like up to 30 minutes later), so just a heads up about that bug.

More Reading Material

Cleaning out the links that have collected over the last few days before I head to the concert tonight (there are still plenty of tickets available at the door, all free, so I’d encourage you to come!):

Post Concert Reading Material

Recovering from not sleeping last night and then a this weekend’s concerts and rehearsals, so enjoy some evening reading:

That’s enough for now. Will post more later if I get motivated.

Two things about Diver 2. One, it requires Silverlight instead of Flash, which I find odd, and two, it’s nearly impossible to play with a trackpad (and even the author recommends using a mouse). I managed to get to level 12 with my trackpad, but I think that’s about as far as I can get. But it is still quite a bit of fun.

Cheap Plug Time

I won’t go through the whole rigmarole like I usually do, but here’s a brief plug about the upcoming Cascade Winds concerts (I’m also performing with the Central Oregon Symphony this weekend):

The Cascade Winds Symphonic Band will present the second concert of their 2009-2010 season, From Russia With Love, under the baton of music director Dan Judd, March 7, 2:00 p.m. at Summit High School auditorium. Featured soloist is Dr. Mark Babbitt, trombone professor at Central Washington University. The concert is free, although donations are gratefully accepted, open to the public and suitable for all ages. For more information visit www.cascadewinds.org or call 593-1635. Summit High School is located at 2855 NW Clearwater Drive, Bend.

For more details, click here or view the event’s Facebook page. Hopefully the weather will be nicer this time around, as last time we had a nasty freeze and snow which hampered attendance by both musicians and concert-goers. But it’ll be a great show with munchies at intermission — how can you refuse?
