Obviously, I don’t watch too many movies, as I only got two right on this little quiz.

Most of this is entirely out of my realm of understanding, but it’s still a fascinating read.

I mentioned before that Google was planning on opening up shop in The Dalles. So why The Dalles? Because there’s a big frickin’ hydroelectic dam there, and Google might need the extra power. Interesting theory, and actually makes a great deal of sense.

In attempt to be able to provide everything you could ever need under the sun, Google now provides weather search via Web or SMS. Version 1.0 of their Desktop Search is now available as well, and they have some useful plugins as well. This is one of Google’s products that has actually been taken out of beta (something that even Google jokes about).

The New York Times is redesigning their site and creating static topical pages whose links will never change, undoubtedly in an attempt to get those pages listed high on Google results. Full Story.
