Just block off one of their doors by building a totally legal wheelchair ramp right in front of it (the picture) really tells the best story).

Amazing Pranks
There are two hilarious pranks that I’d read about recently that deserved being mentioned here:
- The folks at Zug are some of the best pranksters out there, but the prank they managed to pull at the Super Bowl was pretty damn amazing.
- A Swiss man managed to con a newspaper into running a two-page spread Gucci ad that he created — and send the $50,000 bill to Gucci.
Was The Death Star Attack an Inside Job?
This guy makes a pretty good argument:
We’ve all heard the “official conspiracy theory” of the Death Star attack. We all know about Luke Skywalker and his ragtag bunch of rebels, how they mounted a foolhardy attack on the most powerful, well-defended battle station ever built. And we’ve all seen the video over, and over, and over, of the one-in-a-million shot that resulted in a massive chain reaction that not just damaged, but completely obliterated that massive technological wonder.
Like many Americans, I was fed this story when I was growing up. But as I watched the video, I began to realize that all was not as it seemed. And the more I questioned the official story, the deeper into the rabbit hole I went.
Ladies: Need Help With Your NCAA Bracket?
For those folks who know nothing about basketball (though I doubt too many people who are in the pool would consider themselves experts), these folks have released a bracket for ladies which features pictures of the star players as well as pictures of their mascots so you can base your decisions on that. It’s all a crap shoot anyway, so this method is about as good as any.
The Queen Should Know Better…
…than to let her grandkids mess with her answering machine.
LONDON — Princely pranksters William and Harry have been accused of recording a bogus message on Queen Elizabeth II’s answering machine.
The pair were asked for help by their regal gran when she was baffled by the technology.
But she was reported to be mortified when she heard the end result.
“Hey wassup!” their message said. “This is Liz. Sorry I’m away from the throne.”
“For a hotline to Philip, press one. For Charles, press two,” the recording continued. “And for the corgis, press three.”

This Dog Is Smarter Than You
He’s got a college education…sort of…
FOSTORIA, Ohio – An attorney challenging the authority of the city’s police chief wants the department’s police dog to appear in court as an exhibit, because he says the dog and the chief have criminal justice degrees from the same online school.
It only gets weirder. Thanks Cheryl for the link.
Best. Business. Name. Ever.
Business name for a Seattle dog boutique: High Maintenance Bitch. And, naturally, the neighbors of the business hate the name.
Thanks Cheryl for the link.
Cheryl Howard Link Dump
OK, we all know that Cheryl Howard has contributed more than a few links for this site. Hell, she was sending me so many links for a while there that I even set her up with account to post here herself (she never did). I’ve been so stupidly busy lately that I haven’t posted as much as I used to, so I haven’t been posting much in general, let alone her links.
As I’ve mentioned before, she also sends many of her links to Dave Barry, which has now made her (semi) famous. So before she thinks I haven’t forgotten about her, here are all the links I have sitting in my “to-blog” folder from her that need to get posted (and the offer still stands, Cheryl, if you want an account here):
- Men is dumb
- Does this have anything to do with this?
- This doesn’t sound like a good idea.
- Twelve-year-old fined for not recycling.
- Eye gunk in the news.
- People look at me and make this mistake all the time.
- Because it’s already made her famous, I won’t even link to this Prineville moron. Wait, I just did…
She’s sent me far more, but these are the ones that still worked. So yes, I’m a bit behind.
But again, thanks Cheryl for all your contributions and keep them coming (that goes to everybody — everything worthy/timely gets posted, eventually).
Proof That Folks Who Drive Exotic Cars Are Compensating For Something
There’s a man who tried to sell a nice Ferrari on eBay. That seller’s last purchase on eBay? A Titan Enlarger Penis Pump.

Microsoft Recommending An Apple Product For Your PC?
Indeed they are. In an article about making music on your PC (published in Microsoft Home Magazine), the author recommends using GarageBand for advanced music creation.:
Part of iLife ’04, a suite of integrated applications (including iMovie and iDVD), GarageBand is a popular program that turns a Mac computer into a professional-quality recording studio for musicians.
