Calvin and Hobbes launched 25 years ago today. Reddit is discussing their memories about the comic and I agree: I never looked forward to reading the comics like I did then.

My wife got me that collection about 4 years ago. They aren’t lying about the shipping weight either. It needs a team lift sticker on the side.
My 8-year old daughter now reads my C&H books, and has started checking them out from the library. (She’s an advanced reader, so these are just for entertainment purposes.) Now she walks around the house spouting Calvin-isms, and wrote in my birthday/mother’s day card something Calvin wrote to his mom. Ahhhh, kids. So happy to share C&H with her.
