Oregon Ducks Hit #1 In Football Polls

Never thought I’d see the day when the Oregon Ducks are #1 in both the AP and coaches poll after Ohio State lost last night. When the BCS rankings are released tonight, there’s a very good chance that Oregon might be on top of those as well. Not bad considering they didn’t even play yesterday.

Honestly, I’d almost rather them be #2 in the rankings, as the #1 team has lost the last couple weeks. Hopefully they won’t get beaten up by UCLA this next weekend.

Update: We’re #2 in the BCS, behind Oklahoma. We’re #1 in every poll, but 8th in computer rankings (one computer had us #11, one #2). That’s probably thanks to our strength of schedule, which has nothing on some of those SEC schools. Or something. The BCS is such a crapshoot anyway.

Hat tip to Barney for the news.

Time Killer For The Day

Undead Highway is your typical Zombie apocalypse type of game, but since I’ve never really had one of those here, I figured it was time. Who doesn’t like blowing up zombies?

Some of these really had to hurt:

Time Killer For The Evening

Word Bubbles is a fast-paced word game where you get the first three letters and you have to think of as mnay words as possible that begin with that group of three letters.

As it stands right now, I’m really bad at it. I managed 1200 after a few attempts, but that’s been my best after a few times.
