Google got a new Favicon back in June that I really didn’t like. While the new one they debuted this month still plays on the small “g” (which I don’t like), it’s better than what they had in June.
Better it may be, but I still don’t see how a lower-case “g” is more appropriate than an upper-case “G”. I like the old standard “G” the best.

that stupid g, the first was the best, the second sucked, but i got used to it, this new one? omg. at first, i thought it might be for the 2010 olympics it was so fugly. its the most horrible thing that will happen in 2009, and every time something goes wrong i curse google’s favicon

Absolutely detest the new one. Of course, my hatred for it is something that might need looking into. It is, after all, a favicon. Still. Hate it.
