I would’ve linked to that story if there was anything of more substance than the two paragraphs and a short video (and many of my readers can’t always watch video at work, like me, so I sometimes prefer something to read). If the folks there are KOHD want to send me relevant links for my site, like the folks at KTVZ do, I’ll happily link to them if I see fit. I’m a busy dude, and this blog is a free-time hobby of mine, and while I like many of your newscasts and your stories (as I like KTVZ for other reasons) when it comes to my blog, I link to the most relevant information I can get to quickly. KOHD’s site doesn’t load nearly as fast as KTVZ’s generally does, though I like your layout a LOT better — KTVZ’s gives me a headache sometimes, and I get email news updates from KTVZ. Since I work out of my inbox, generally, it’s easier for me to post stuff that I can find there.
You’re welcome to post those relevant links in the comments anytime you want, I really don’t care and would honestly encourage it, but if you want me to link to you guys in the article, you need to make it easier for me. I’m just trying to get my readers relevant information quickly, and hardly ever have time to read all the local media outlets — I like to see my family now and again 🙂
