this is very interesting
some of the things they shoulda left !!.. little things that i might use… shutdown sounds, plug n play hardware choices, active desktop.. gah !!
glad they took out crap like desktop cleanup wizard and windows messenger
i didnt realize there was so many changes
i remember playing with longhorn when it came out back in the day, and they tweaked it a lot from that. did u ever get a hold of longhorn jake?
I never really got a chance to play with Longhorn much, and my experience with Vista is enough to know it drives me batty. UAC has got to be the most annoying thing on Earth and probably the first thing I turn off for a Vista system if I’m using it. I understand their reasoning for including it, but I didn’t realize how many times you had to click “OK” when you’re just trying to setup a system for use in a corporate environment. Cripes…
omfg i know !!
even when its off it still reminds u on startup that its turned off…. gah. not that i turn off my computer much.. but still !
