The scariest part is at the end where the writer recounts multiple other instances when kids have died when “accidentally” left in a parked car. They neglected to mention the CSI episode where parents intentionally did it… in this case truth is stranger than fiction.
My wife and I use a tag-team method when moving the kids around by car. If I am dropping off, she calls me and asks how things went. If she is dropping off I call and see how it went. We’ve had a lot of this in Texas the past few years too.
