While Bend.com founer Spencer Dahl and I have had our issues with each other publicly (read the comments on this post and this post), I would never wish this on anybody.
Needless to say, Bend.com is down right now. And Spencer, I know you and I have had our issues with each other, but if you need a place to temporarily park the domain until you’re back up and running, you know how to get a hold of me.

ALthough I haven’t been to Bend.com since Barney left, I have always liked Spencer. I am tremendously relieved to hear his girls (and himself) weren’t home as when I read the headline it was my first thought and concern.
Also living in a house built in the 20’s I admired the renovation to his home, it was lovely. If there is an upside, houses can always be rebuilt. As can web sites.
Jake, you are a stand up guy–I think your offer is incredibly considerate. I hope Spencer takes you up on it.
