Anybody Have A Hookup On A Good Bend Home Rental?

My sister and brother-in-law are apparently getting booted out of the place they’re renting in the Providence subdivisions in Northeast Bend. The owner of the home has decided that he’s going to sell it, and he’s probably going to be asking far too much for them to be able to afford to buy it from them. He’s given them 30 days to get out of there, which means they have to move somewhere else.

Looking on RentBend (will be looking at the Bulletin later tonight), there’s just not a lot out there for median income folks who are renting but need a three-bedroom (or larger, as they have three kids) with a pet-allowed (they have a cat) home. Their credit is recovered after a bankruptcy many years ago, but Bend’s home prices and the interest rates are certainly not supportive of folks who make normal wages (unless you were lucky enough to get in before the boom like my wife and I did). You can’t buy a home for less than $220,000 here, unless it’s on wheels.

Anybody have some leads on a private homeowner who is looking for some renters, and might be open to a rent-to-own arrangement? Contact me at utterlyboring [-at-] gmail [-dot-] com.

I feel for them. I am going to be moving to Washington, because you can barely buy a townhome for $220,000 here, let alone a house….

You should point them over to Plus Property Managment, They are our current property managers and I feel like we got a great deal on our house right now. We pay $750/month for a pretty large home. They always have some nice properties for rent.

Crystal Lake Property Management is a company that a couple of my friends use to manage their rental property.
