Hey, what a coincidence. I sumbled upon that one or two weeks ago, too! Brilliant little tool, although it takes some manual registry-tweaking to make things work the way you really might want them to.
I followed directions and disabled the non-microsoft shells, and still have a problem with really slow right clicks. It is also super slow openning some documents (Especially text files with notepad). I know notepad is an huge complex program and all. Anyways, disabling those shells didn’t seem to do anything for me. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Hey, thanks for that

damned roxio causing the problem :@

Genius, i had no idea what the problem was, but thanks. You’ve saved me half my day!!!
Here’s a great guide for solving slow right clicks. Using the program shown above but with a more indepth tutorial.

80% of these delays are in fact due a strange problem, when the action tries first to do a network connection (usually to network stations no longer avaiable).
First try unplugging the network connection and if this solves this delays, try WireShark, start it when you right-click and it will show you the problem, then delete this entry from registry and voila!
