The article should have gone on to mention how many of the kids liked the carrots. When I eat storebought carrots nowadays, I can taste the pesticides. They are bitter and gross. When I eat a homegrown carrot I can taste the fresh dirt it grew in.. not a whole lot better, but still 😉
