Times have changed. My Dad just told me the other day that he took his shotgun to school for show and tell when he was in the fourth grade and went in front of the class and handled it and then put it away for the rest of the day. Everyone thought it was great.
It is quite a different time now.
“That’s not a knife, this is a knife!”
“No, that’s a spoon.”
Oh, I see you’ve played knifey spoony before!”
You might have already wrote this, but they suspended a kindergartener that found a pocketknife and brought it to school.
