My wife walked into a new(er) ice cream store in town, and was overwhelmed a bit by the selection. She noticed there were three different kinds of vanilla flavored ice creams: French Vanilla, Vanilla Bean, and Smooth and Creamy. She asked the nit-wit behind the counter, “What’s the difference between the three?”
His reply? “They’re all different kinds of vanilla.”

American ice cream sucks. Come to Italy and change your life, or at least your ice cream.
true service, true upper-end gourmet would have the knowledge. This is a case of fake-fancy-pants at its finest. Product, show, high price, but no knowledge to back it up. This kind of stuff makes me crazy. Go to Italy, they could tell ya the difference in the vanillas.
