I got a digital camera for Christmas. My parents paid too much for it for what it is, and I’m going to return it to get a better camera for the same price. I’m looking at the Canon A70. Does anybody out there have one that they want to get rid of? I’d like some extra Compact Flash cards, if you’ve got them, too (I have an 8 meg SD card I’ll give ya ;-). I have (or will have after I return this other cam) cash. Anybody have one they want to get rid of, or can hook me up with a place to get one (and accessories — mostly compact flash cards) cheap? Nope, dont have one to get rid of, but I just bought the A80 for Christmas, and its the best camera for the price ive seen. Tha A70 is just as good for the 3.0 megapixel group….
I’d, obviously, get the A80 if I could afford it, but I can only afford the A70 after I return the other camera.

I know, not much help. They are both awesome cameras, and Im still not selling mine. I do know where you can pick up the A80 online for $349 though, which is only $49 more than the A70 is retail in most stores i think.
Right, but I’ve seen the A70 for $250, if I look hard enough. And I should be getting back $250 from my other camera (it was bought at Ritz so it was a bit expensive), so I’m just trying to find the A70 cheaper than that so I can still buy accessories (memory, etc… ) for it.
Yeah, good luck. I did lots of research and checking prices on just about every camera made, and didnt find an A70 for less than $250. Maybe on Ebay or something.
Hope you find one.
P.S. I also bought mine at Ritz, because I wanted the warranty that they offered so I didnt have to worry about anything happening to it.
