Why I’m reading this in the Detroit Free Press and not in some local news outlets is beyond me (it was AP, so it was probably written by somebody locally anyway). But apparently the folks up in Maupin are getting mad that too many people are just taking dumps in the woods without cleaning up after themselves, and could now be fined up to $500 for the violation.
