People Love Their Pets Too Much
I can't say that I'd like to meet the people who would buy a stuffed-animal urn to put their deceased pet's ashes in. That's just disturbing.

Paul said on 08/29/05 @ 04:21 PM: I love my cat like crazy, but that is sick. I wonder what those people do with the carcas while they're waiting the 6 to 8 week delivery time.
Scott said on 08/30/05 @ 09:14 AM: Joelle's testimonial really creeped me out. Nothing like sleeping with a stuffed animal that is chock full of your dead dog's ashes.
RHYS said on 08/30/05 @ 07:51 PM: Eek! And I thought cloning was stepping over the line...
WebCat said on 09/10/05 @ 04:46 PM: The stuft animal is goofy, I agree. I know someone that did this, but the ashes just came in a box. Still. I don't see what's so creepy or sick about it - its just ashes after all. Obviously you've never been attached to or "loved" a pet. Too bad. My fur-person is 17 years old, and the most loving and affectionate one I've ever known. It's hard to explain if you not in tune with your animal side. When she goes, I will get her ashes. I won't keep them, but I will spread them in a special place, like you might for your human-relatvie. It's not stepping over the line either. Sounds like you all are watching too many horror movies.
Cooper said on 09/25/05 @ 06:30 PM: Well i think its kinda creepy, ive had my cat for 19 years (my whole life) and i wouldnt make her a ashey sleepy pet thing to sleep with, mainly coz its kinda creepy sleeping with,... well a dead animal. i treat my cat kinda like a person, n its like you wouldnt stuff a person n sleep in bed with it would ya? well some people do but thats not the point.. is it? hmm either way i think one should remember their pet by who/what they are/where and not by their current phsyical embodyment. Basically what im saying is if you look at it realisitcly, its a dead animal, why do you want a dead animal? i find stuffed animals to be a mockery of what the animal once was.
