UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Gmail Contest WinnersWe had a tie for first place in my contest, and both folks linked to my site, getting them 25 points. I also had two people tied for 7th (and I agree to give out a Gmail invite for 7th) so I had a couple extra Gmail invites, so both of the first places will be getting three invites and both of the 7th place folks will be getting one. Here's how the scoring for the invites rounded up:
There were about six more that entered that didn't make the top seven. Thanks to everybody for playing, and you'll be receiving your invites shortly at the e-mail addresses that you e-mailed me from.
