Right on…I’ve been looking for an excuse to dump all my crap on eBay. Today is free listing day on eBay, so now’s your chance to dump all that unwanted Christmas crap. I’ve spent the last 2 hours copying all my data from my dead Dell to get it ready to put on eBay for parts. Oh what fun…and it’s been snowing profusely here in Sunriver, too, so my car is getting buried in the white stuff right now. Can’t wait to drive home.

We’re having a baby!
I have a rather large announcement (and this will hopefully get some of you who haven’t bothered to call/write us for a while to start): Lydia and I are expecting another addition to the family! Lydia’s pregnant, due next Summer, so there will be another little one in the family. Hannah’s excited about being a big sister, and we’re excited to have another one (though this is probably going to be the LAST one…our house ain’t big enough). That means that all of you who have been meaning to stay with us since we had the extra room had better hurry, as that room’s going to the new child soon.
This also means that anybody who was expecting a gift from us is probably not going to get one as I’m dang-near broke, and had to take a pay cut at Sunray (www.sunrayinc.com) so I could get on the Oregon Health Plan (since they dropped their health coverage, as many companies are doing).

Thanks to Lott, all the folks down under think we’re a bunch of racists. Granted, most of those old, gray-haired politicions probably are, a good chunk of us aren’t. Yes, there’s still a racism and bigotry problem in this country (and everywhere, for that manner), but it is (slowly) getting better.
Frickin’ Laptop – Part Deau
OK, it’s official, the Dell is dead. Anybody want to buy a Dell Inspiron 7000 for parts? It’s going on eBay, otherwise (along with the Tumbleweed that was for sale the other day).

Frickin’ laptop
OK, I’m annoyed as heck, as I have a pile to do today, and my laptop is busted. At least Dell has nice hold music. Got it on speaker phone, cranking the ol’ big-band tunes until I can talk to a tech.
Meanwhile, I’m working on my slower Compaq, so don’t expect much out of me until I get my Dell up and working, as I don’t have w.bloggar installed, and I’m not about to sit at this web interface to type in all my entries.
Update: Got the thing fixed…the thing was having issues with my network card, or so I think. It, for some reason, works now, even though the network card is still in the system. Weird. This has been a VERY non-productive day.
Update 2 (3 hours from original post): Not fixed, back to not booting. Screw it…I’m going to eat lunch.
