Seen this linked in a few places. I haven’t really got into BitTorrent too much, but now it might be easier since there’s a good search engine for files.

Firefox as MSIE
I can see this being useful in making Firefox useful for the masses. Some developers are attempting to make Firefox look and act just like MSIE. Now if somebody can just write a worm that goes around the net and replaces MSIE with this, we’d be good to go and nobody would be the wiser. Really. Thanks Neil for the link.
Another Annoying Flash Game
This time brought to you by Jesse, who decided to whip it together in a few hours last night. I can’t control the damn space ship, and I’ve only totaled 3 points on this before dying. That thing needs a brake or something as I can’t seem to keep it in control, but maybe it’s just me.
b!x Needs Your Funds
b!x is looking for money to enter the Online Journalism Awards competition for the Portland Communique. It’s a great site, and should win an award, and I think he’s got a great chance of winning. He’s looking to get $200 to enter in a couple categories, so make sure you contribute.
I see Pet, Pelt, Let, Gut…
That’s just a few of the words I see on this giant boggle game. Thanks Dan for the link.
Perl Programming at Its Finest: The De-moroniser
Anybody who knows anything about Web design and coding knows that Microsoft’s products, including it’s “Web developer” stuff, produce some of the nastiest HTML code imaginable. This Perl script will convert Microsoft’s “HTML” into something at least usable as a starting point to use online.
Now what somebody needs to do is take this perl code and put it online somewhere and make it usable so you can just put a URL into a form field, and have it clean it up, and spit back the results (I’m not nearly good enough in Perl to do that). I’m sure it would be a bandwidth/CPU hog, but it’d be so worth it.
Smart Image Hotlinking Protection
Another one for the bookmarks when I decide to turn back on my image blocking. Thanks to Neil for the link.
Tour De France Bike Blog
This is very entertaining. While there’s a good Tour De France Blog on the Web, the blog written by Lance Armstrong’s bike is far more entertaining. Link via Cyberjournalist.
Go Ducks!
Apparently, according to Rob, Oregon men’s basketball has secured one of the top 10 recruiting classes in the nation. Right on! Now if we can just make it back to the tournament and past the first round, that’d be good.
A Better “Hold The Button”
Remember Hold The Button, the game that challenged you to see how long you could hold down the button on your mouse? This game is just like that, but the button moves. What did you score? Link via b3ta.
