I got to Level 5 on this one. Have fun.

I need to make some of these to hang around Bend. We just need to fill them with gold coins, giant mushrooms, big ol’ flowers, and/or bouncing stars.

This is pretty clever and cool animation.

Virgil Widrich’s extraordinary, award-winning animation is a technical masterpiece. Hundreds of great movie moments are distilled into 14 minutes of animated magic by the director’s clever use of technology (and a photocopier).

On the surface, Fast Film tells a simple story. A woman is kidnapped and a man sets off to save her, embarking on a dramatic rescue mission full of wild chase scenes.

What makes Fast Film unique is that all its scenes were taken from 300 different feature films. Director Virgil Widrich captured stills from the 300 movies, and made over 65,000 photocopies of these, then folded them into a variety of shapes and animated them. The result is a completely fresh look at Hollywood – a tour of movie history at breakneck speed.

If I were a bit more feminine and was going to do my nails, I’d do them something like this. Link via BB.

It looks like the old classic video game, but it’s actually a machine doing all the work.

I know I’ve listed several Google Map Hacks before, but this one is pretty cool: linking US Census data with Google Maps.

I love this show because it, just like The Simpsons, always has something different during the opening title sequence. On The Simpsons it’s the couch gag, Bart’s chalkboard sequences, and Lisa’s sax solo, and on Futurama it’s the opening title (among some billboard changes as they’re flying through the city). Speaking of Futurama, there are rumors that there will be new episodes created exclusively for DVD

Haven’t had enough time to play it and figure out what all the various squares mean and do, but this should keep you busy for a while.
