The physics-based Assembler will kill off your day if you’re not careful. I got to level 17 before I had to quit.

Wooden Path will kill off too much of your time. Don’t play it.

If you want to accomplish anything, don’t get started on Whiteboard Tower Defense. Like Desktop Tower Defense, it’ll kill off your day.

Cool apps like Photoswap, where you take a photo, and it’s sent to a random person and you get a random one in return. Stupid, but fun.

On a related note, I was talking to the AT&T chat folks, and they said that an AT&T tower is going up in Bend sometime in the near future. She couldn’t say when or where, but mentioned Cascade Lakes (which seemed a little out there, but maybe just outside of town) and that it would only be a GSM, not 3G, tower (the Oregon Coast has 3G, and we can’t — how stupid is that?). Long story short? It means we might be able to get local numbers for iPhones sometime. Probably a decade from now, but hey, it’s a start.

The $1 menu item (though they probably have sales tax in NYC, right?). There’s not much, but if you’d rather buy something else in New York for a buck, here are some stock options.
