Since they only put online in the afternoon what they print in the morning, and they only print in the morning what they covered the evening before, and they often only cover the evening before what they stole off of our website from the evening before that, you could have just time-delayed bend.com’s RSS feed 48 hours and been done with it. 🙂

Who was the editor/publisher of the Bulletin in 55/6 when I worked on it.
Well… I be… all this is now pointless as the bulletin has changed their entire web site and locked out 80% of their users (paying subscription only). Who, in their right mind, is going to pay to access content online? I guess Bend.com is now poised to take the majority of all their cast-off traffic. Good for you guy. Take it and run!
Help is needed, the Bend Bulletin refuses to contract with a comic strip called “Pearls Before Swine” how could this venue make that happen or could it?
