Drench is a tough little game with a simple premise: Fill the game board with the same color (starting with the top-left corner) by selecting adjoining colors to fill. I only made it through the first two levels.

Time Killer For The Evening
I think Robert (who sent me this game) described RoboKill perfectly (even if he copy/pasted it from somewhere else):
RoboKill from Rock Solid Arcade is a sweet little shoot-em-up. Guide your robot through 10 missions, blasting away at everything in sight, upgrading armor and weapons as you go. Like all the other Rock Solid games, the game is on the simplistic side. But polished artwork, sound, and gameplay make it a fun time killer.
Indeed it is a great time killer.
Everything’s Great, But Nobody’s Happy
It’s amazing how technology has made us into people like this.
Can You Tell The Difference?
This game is just a simple quiz: Steak House or Gay Bar? Since I don’t frequent either (the former I can’t afford, the latter because I’m not gay), I batted about 40% on this one.
Huh?
I don’t know about you guys, but I think she’s sitting on the toilet:
Seriously, why would anybody make a video like this? And why would anybody remix it (videos after the jump)?
Time Killers For The Evening
Just got done watching the series 8 premiere of the totally awesome Spooks (great show — which unfortunately you have to work a bit if you want to see it on our side of the Atlantic), and thought I’d share some time killers while I recover from the tense episode…
- CCCPirates where you get to shoot cannon balls in an attempts to save treasure chests.
- Momentum Master is a tough little bugger of a game, but a heck of a lot of fun.
Enjoy!
Links For The Day
Another busy evening (have rehearsal tonight right after work until late and am already tired after today), but have a bunch of stuff to share…
- Developing Games for Android.
- A really cool multi-app installer which will be great when setting up new computers.
- Why do we have an IMG element?
- The “Less Than Free” business model.
- Unfortunately, victim in fatal car accident was not Glenn Beck.
- Twitter Lists How-to.
- Old buddy of mine started up Central Oregon Athlete, covering local sports.
- ABC Numbers are out, and The Bulletin bucked circulation decline trends by actually posting a very small gain in circulation. They did last year as well. I’m sure you can all come up with reasons as to why they managed this, so knock yourself out below.
Links For The Day (And Technology Sucks)
I’ve dealing with an accounting “upgrade” that has caused me nothing but trouble and more work the last 48 hours (and a hardware upgrade on a client PC that needed more RAM because Quickbooks said so). Since the first of the month was the beginning of our fiscal year, the software needed to be in place ASAP (it didn’t help that Costco cancelled my original order and caused a three week delay in getting it). It’s finally working after working out some quirks with the new version of Quickbooks and Windows Server 2003 (see my link above for the gory details), and I now have my backup system of Karen’s Replicator (backing up to multiple hard drives and date-based directories around the network) and Ahsay OBM in place (after rebuilding our offsite backup server after a motherboard failure — another time killer), so I can finally sleep a little bit better.
So instead of something witty or resembling humor on here, here are some links I’ve had sitting around for the last couple days that I’ve wanted to share:

Time Killer For The Day
It’s a simple game — just fill in the spaces so that the same colors don’t touch. But the part that makes it fun is trying to do it in as few colors as possible. It’s Flood Fill and I managed to get gold stars (meaning you did the level in the fewest amounts of colors possible) on all 20 levels (just plan on trying to use three colors on later levels).
