I HATE that game!!!!
My high score so far is 3780. Don’t ask me how I know that. *mutter*
Oh man. This is good. I mean bad. No, good. No, bad. hmmmmmmm
I hate you. I should be writing a paper right now, but my thoughts keep turning to better strategies for this game.
I hate you, too. I practically had to beg my husband for some cuddle time last nite.
Connie: I apologize profusely. At least you offer your husband “cuddle time” (hehe).
But since I know your husband, smack him for being an idiot, ‘k? 😉
Yes, that game is terribly addicting.
I found the best approach for this game is to make an east-west traveling intestine out of the $5 towers for them to travel though, then toss in a few missile towers that can reach large portions of the intestine.
Make the intestine as zig zaggy as possible. Make them turn every time the pass a square. That slows them down.
For the air raids, just put a single air tower and freeze tower along the path and upgrade the heck out of them.
4276 & almost got to the end (level 48, when things got nuts). I’m so close…
Perhaps my paper will write itself if I beat the last boss.
I got over 5000 pts and finished a level by making an “intestine” as Laen described, with 4 maxed out squirt towers and one swarm tower in the middle, a frost tower before they reach the squirters, and unpromoted pellet towers everywhere else. The creeps have to wind their way around the squirts so they’re in range as much as possible, and the routes from the west and north openings are different lengths so both squads don’t hit at once.
Cool, I got 5641 on normal mode, 17 lives left after defeating level 50. I’ve been putting my scores in a score group called “ortman”. You folks oughtta do so too. 🙂
