Keith said on 06/16/07 @ 08:30 PM: Far from fun. It is a very scary place to be after dark. Give me the Portland strip scene any day. It's a shame the area is so poor and decrepit . East St. Louis and the surrounding east metro area was a rich a vibrant area prior to the race riots in the early 20th century .
