Beck Does Percussion

I'm a percussionist, as many of you know, and I always appreciate when unique percussion hits mainstream (the puppets are a bit weird, however). So here's Beck on SNL (which apparently Hugh Laurie hosted, whose work I'm a huge fan of).

Beck performed that song with cups, plates, utensils when he played Bend.

The puppets were pretty rad.

I was at the Bend show too. I must agree on Mrs. H's assessment of the puppets -- its just the kind of abstract genius that hooks me every time Beck does anything. A true artist, he is. His new album is the shizz, too.
