It's actually a good thing that Barney quoted a blogger in this story about Bend's real estate, as if he just interviewed Real Estate guys around here, they'd say the study was crap as they obviously have an vested interest in keeping prices high. So at least we have a counterpoint here, but I do find it interesting that a blogger (an anonymous one at that) is getting quoted in local media.
