I don't read as much as I should, but if I ever get the time to do so again, I'm going to head here. Based on the last book I read, these are the recommendations (I had read Microserfs, by Douglas Coupland).
Chris said on 09/29/05 @ 10:21 AM: I wonder how they choose what books to "reccommend." Using "An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" (yes, I am trying to read this) as a starting point yielded this. Maybe "East of Eden" is really a physics treastise masking as an Oprah Book of the Month.
