Windows Update For Non MSIE User
Those of you who have some common sense and are using Firefox instead of MSIE for your Web browser, bookmark this site and you'll never have to go to WindowsUpdate.com again.
This is actually a good thing, as I was having trouble getting MS's Windows Update to run on a server here at the office, but this ran without a hitch after I installed Firefox.

It seems nice though - I always hate launching IE for updates.

Nameless One said on 08/24/05 @ 06:52 AM: This extension is very special, I don't find the possibility to uninstall it... and the mechanism to install it is very strange and, in my opinion, NOT SECURE !!!
franCk said on 08/24/05 @ 08:14 PM: Well, old plain good FUD said, you could not resist...
Anime_Negative said on 11/25/05 @ 07:40 AM: Who ever the anonymous user who said that this extension is insecure, is crazy. It seems as though he didnt get the box asking if he wanted it to install.
Im thinking that maybe its installed as a plugin and not as an extension, or alternatively its invisible for the very same reason of keeping security at a high as it is microsoft related, yes?
Still I wonder why you cant remove it, not that i would see any reaon to remove it.
Peace Out Mozilla Fans
