I hate both Rap and Country Music

But what it were combined into one music style? Would I be able to tolerate Country Rap? I doubt it, but it'd be an interesting genre.

You mean you allow negative values for respect measurements?
Damn :) I guess now that I have the minus-fifty operation down I'll research square roots

I think Country-Rap is going to carve out a serious niche'. I'm not talking about the gangsta rappers who cop an old Country song loop, put on a cowboy hat and rap like they're still in the hood. Cowboy-Troy from "Big & Rich" already did it and if you wanna hear a white rapper who raps like a REAL funny-ass Redneck, there's "Insane" Shane Mckane
Mark my words, Country-Rap is gonna be BIG when the rap style stops imitating the traditional urban sound!

I just happened to key why I hate both rap and country and stumbled upon your site...lol. First of all, I am a 30-something white guy, so you ask: who the fuck gives him the right to critique rap music? Why? because I'm extremely open minded, thats why, and I STILL come to the conclusion that RAP music is the number one contributor to the downfall of our pop-culture socitey; It CLEARLY is the most talentless, unoriginal form of "music" in society today. I am completely dumfounded why white youth spends billions of dollars on rap music and related paraphernalia, when the message is obviously not directed towards them. The Sug Nights of this world are laughing all way to the bank, leaving you white kids high and dry. Pls explain this phenomena to me kids. Does dressing up in a white muscle shirt, arms crossed, do-rag adorned, pants around ass crack, etc, ever get old? When does this style become outdated? Its been around for almost 20 years. Give it up. Been played out; to the extreme....lol....look you little musically-inclined white kids full of angst; start a garage band and become the next Led Zeppelin for god sakes and give up the gansta lifestyle.. . keep it real, as my posse would say...lol ... oh and I equally hate the made-for-video "new" country music, post Garth Brooks. George strait and George Jones rules!!!!!!

Remember when listening to the radio was a pleasureable expericence? Same goes for trips to the music store. It wasn't that long ago when music was happy, groovy, and was of high quality.
I find today's music depressing, boring, and of low quality. The music industry, like the rest of America's entertainment industry has decided to put profit ahead of art. It damn fuckin' sucks when you pay a ton of $ for a product that damn sucks. It's obvious to me that the music industry doesn't give a fuck about art or quality. Bullshit sucks. Payin' for it up the the goddamn ass sucks even more.
I'd rather listen to opera; at least it's real music.

I think Cowboy troy is what sucks about today's music. I like rap and country and that crap doesn't fit either very well. Its like poor rapping and none of the funny or sad aspects of country life. Its like Kid Rock, but even stupider and not hard rock (if that's possible).

First, country does not suck, you closed minded people. Secondly, some rap is good, the people who mess it up are the ones that go to cussin and disrespecting women. You don't find any of that in country. If the rap artists of today would just clean up their lyrics and make more MUSIC, then that'd be the best thing to happen. The way I see it, Cowboy Troy is doing a great thing, makin rap the way it should be. If you're from the country and want to rap, do it over country music. If you're from boston or wherever, rap over rock. And if you're from LA, rap over techno or something. Rap over whatever you want, just do it clean. That's all I have to say.
