UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. What does your state have for sale?Check out this state-by-state listing. Oregon, for example, sells surplus, seized and recovered vehicles on eBay. Heck, for that matter, most of the stuff Oregon has for sale is on eBay. But here's what I wonder: Where's all this money go? They're making a bunch of money on sales for all these things, so I wonder which State department gets the revenue from this stuff? Not only that, but whose job is it to post all these stuff on eBay?
