If you're reading this, you have too much time on your hands.
I always though he was good in the movies he's been in (especially The Shawshank Redemption, probably my favorite movie ever), but I have found a new-found respect for the man. He gave a wonderful speech to the National Press Club where he spoke about his views on the war, the current administration, and how journalists could be the key to changing this whole mess around. Bravo, Tim, and I agree with everything you said. Link via beerdrinker.org.

And as a mother who sent her daughter to war, to say I was offended by his little play is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!! He "cares" about the soldiers, ya' right. That's why he tries to block recruitment, undermines what they are doing, and defames anyone who doesn't agree. All with the idea that it is the small minded little people who just aren't as enlightened as he and his friends. Well, thank God that they weren't around in WWII, my German is really bad!!!! Please become a well read person, look at others opinions, become more open minded.
