I Know What I'm Going To Do With My Wii

Load time is always an issues with Wii games, it seems. Our kids play the Wii extensively and it's always fun for parties at the Ortman house, but sometimes it's a buzzkill when you're waiting for the next song to load in Just Dance 2. It'd sure be nice if it could load off the hard drive.

There have been ways to hack the Wii before to play games off a hard drive, but they usually involved an ugly exploit or game hack to get it to work. Lifehacker shares a quick five-minute process to hack your Wii. Then you can run games off a hard drive, which will be really handy so the kids don't keep scratching up my their disks.

Now if I can just convince the wife and kids to let me tinker...

It's a really easy process and pretty much foolproof. I hacked mine in no time at all.
