69 Years Later, These Images Are Still Haunting

Pearl Harbor was attacked 69 years ago today. My grandfather and grandmother were both there that day (he in the Navy), and managed to survive the attack, but I do know if you were to show these images to either one of them (my grandfather passed away when I was a teenager), it would undoubtedly bring back memories they'd rather not have.

Are we calabash? My grandmother was born & raised in Honolulu and was working at UH then. My grandfather (now 92) was in the Navy, stationed at Pearl. He served on the USS Balch (flag ship for the USS Enterprise & Yorktown).

My grandfather was born and raised in Wisconsin. When they found out where he was stationed when he graduated from Officer's training (in 1939) they had to look it up, as no one he knew had ever heard of Hawaii.
