UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the service manager at Weston Technologies. He has LinkedIn and Facebook profiles if you're trying to stalk him. Birthday TimekillerAccording to a bunch of wall posts on Facebook and a bunch of automated e-mail greetings from the zillions of forums I have accounts on, it's my birthday today. Apparently I'm 32 today. I'm just in denial of it all, as I'm ever closer to 40 -- which is apparently the new 30. But one cool thing about having a birthday this time of year is I (nearly) share a birthday with Pac Man. Google is celebrating the game's 30th birthday with a playable home page logo (and you can even play two-player using the WASD buttons). Just insert a couple coins and go!
